Smarty pants

We are proud to say that our little girl made a big move this week at school.  Because her teachers felt like she was ahead of most of what they were learning in preschool, they moved her up to the Pre-K class on Monday.  Her friend Elizabeth moved too, so they are still in the same class together.  So far, her new teachers say she has been doing great, and she says she likes it.  It's interesting to see how they change things between preschool and pre-k in order to get the kids ready for kindergarten -- not only does she have homework (just a few simple pages per week), but they call the teachers by their last names ("Mrs. So-and-so") instead of their first names.  Once again, our little girl is growing up so fast!
