The truck that drives by and plays music

Since it's been a little warmer lately, Emma has rediscovered her love for bubbles and sidewalk chalk in the front yard. Daddy caught her on film as she blew bubbles the other day.For some reason, I think she looks strikingly like her mom did about 29 years ago in this one:
Tim happened to be recording a video when the ice cream truck drove by. Fortunately for us, Emma doesn't yet understand what it means when the ice cream truck comes down the street, so she just thinks it's a cool truck that plays music as it drives by. In case you can't tell, at the end she says, "Wow, is that pretty cool or what?" So clueless, yet so adorable at the same time!

To Build A Fire

Ok, ok...it's been awhile since we've posted anything. We know Emma's loyal fans are getting antsy for new material. We just haven't had alot of picture-worthy excitement lately, and time got away from us.

We did have a good dose of snow a couple of weeks ago. We made another, much more successful, attempt at a snowman. Excuse me, snowgirl. See the long hair?

Last weekend we finally had some spring-ish weather, so we headed downtown to Piedmont Park for a picnic and some fun at the playground.

We'll put up a link as soon as Tim gets all of the pictures up on Flickr. But this video is too cute not to share! Emma was "driving" the play firetruck at the playground and had a little convo with Daddy about how she was going to build a fire. Guess we need to work on explaining exactly what firemen do!
