Big boy

We took Andrew to the pediatrician on Wednesday for his two month check-up.  He was all smiles as the doctor checked him out.  She even commented that "he is a very social baby."  I wonder if we have a little outgoing boy on our hands...that sure would be different from what we are used to with our shy girl!  He certainly already knows how to charm the ladies with that sweet smile.

As for the stats, he is 22 1/2" long (50th percentile), and he weighs 14lbs 8oz (95th percentile).  As we said before, he is certainly not going hungry! 

He starts at daycare on Monday, so hopefully he will be on a regular schedule soon.  Emma is very excited about the idea of her baby brother being in the same building as she is all day, even if they won't really see each other.  I hear great things about the baby room from some of the parents who have sent their kids there, so hopefully it won't be too tough to drop him off on Monday morning.

We went out to dinner last weekend to celebrate Mommy and Daddy's birthdays with Grandma & Grandpa H and Aunt Laura, who was kind enough to take our very first family photo since Andrew's arrival.  It was kind of a dark room, and it was taken on a phone, but it's still a nice picture.
