Yesterday, while taking an afternoon walk down the street, we decided to stop by Jackson's house to see if he wanted to show us around. Since it was an impulse decision, we didn't have the camera along, so no pictures. Emma was feeling a bit shy, and poor Jackson wanted her to play so badly! He kept bringing her toy after toy, and Emma kept saying, "No." He finally threw his hands up and gave up. Of course, once he was distracted, she started playing with a toy she'd had her eye on since we had walked in the door. Sometimes it just takes her a few minutes to warm up. Jackson loved giving us a tour of the house, and they whole way home, Emma kept saying how she wants to have Jackson over to her house and show him the playroom. It was so cute! Kinda made up for the fact that we ended up walking home in the rain...

Playing with friends
Emma has been hanging out with some of her favorite buddies this week. On Saturday, we met Audrey & her mommy at the playground. Apparently they had a good time together because both girls have been talking about it ever since! Audrey's mommy got some cute pictures of the girls playing together, but for some reason I can't figure out how to save them and post them here. I swiped this one from Audrey's blog. (Thanks, Niki!)
