Special guests

Even though we didn't go anywhere on Wednesday, Emma had an action packed day. Mommy's friend Destiny drove the kids down from Louisville because they are without power for at least a week, after the remnants of Ike moved through last weekend.

Her two youngest ones, Rhett and Paisley, came along for a nice visit to our house. Paisley is almost 6 months old, and Emma was completely captivated by her. She kept saying, "Hi baby! Hi baby! Hi baby!" Here she is, kissing Paisley's hand. So sweet.Taking a lunch break for some pizza and green beans with Rhett. Yummy!
Emma couldn't wait to show Rhett and Paisley her playroom. Paisley took a turn on the rocking horse.Emma showed Rhett the Fox In Socks, and then got mad that he wanted to play with it. We're still working on the concept of sharing!All the kiddies gathered around to hear Destiny read a story.Then Emma got to hold baby Paisley in her lap. She thought that was super cool.

Before anyone even goes there, Mommy & Daddy would like to remind you all that even though Emma loves babies, she doesn't have a whole lot of say when it comes to having another one in our house. We've got plenty of time to make that decision, and in the meantime, she has several friends who are about to have little sisters or brothers, so there will be no shortage of babies to play with anytime soon!
