Off to see the fishies

The rain finally took a break last Wednesday, so we met some friends at the neighborhood playground for some much-needed outside time. It's a good thing we got our play time in when we did because by Wednesday night, Emma had come down with a fever and a bad cough. By Thursday morning, I had it too, so we spent the rest of the week (and most of the weekend) inside resting and recovering. Not much fun!

Fortunately, we made up for it today with a family trip to the Georgia Aquarium. None of us had ever been before, so Daddy took the day off work, and we made a day of it. Emma loved seeing all of the different fish and other animals.

After the aquarium, we took a stroll through Centennial Olympic Park and enjoyed a nice cool fall day.
