Daddy was out last night at his fantasy football draft, so Emma & I decided to have girls' night at home. First I let her play outside (chalking & blowing bubbles) for as long as she wanted. While playing outside, she got her first flower from a boy. Awww. Cooper, sweetheart that he is, picked a little pink flower and gave it to her. So as soon as we got inside, we put her little flower and the rose we had picked off of one of our rose bushes in some water. Of course, Emma wanted to take a picture of the pretty flowers:
We decided to have breakfast for dinner -- one of Emma's favorites. And of course, you can't have a girls' night without chocolate, so we split a cookie for dessert.
To top off our girlie evening, we painted Emma's toenails for the very first time. Ready for her pedicure:
Pretty pink piggies!
Emma's still a little confused about the idea of nail polish. She woke up this morning, looked down at her feet, and said, "Mom! Look! They're still pink!"
