Grandma and Grandpa H came over for a visit this week to see everyone and bring us our souvenirs from their recent trip. The kids both loved this silly fold-up hat from Bali:
They each got a stuffed animal from Australia too, a koala bear and a kangaroo. Emma couldn't wait to take her kangaroo to school and show her class, although she forgot the name of the place it came from, so she told them Alaska. I'm sure her teacher was a little confused about that one until we set things straight the next day!
This is a blurry photo, but it shows how sweet Drew is with his stuffed animals. He loves to give them hugs. True, after that he throws them to the floor and runs off to play with something else. But for that two seconds while he's holding them, they get his undivided attention!
