Cousin collaboration

We spent Saturday evening at Aunt Martha and Uncle Don's house, hanging out with Nate, Kathryn, Jessica, and Baby Allison and the rest of Mommy's side of the family (minus Aunt Laura), who were in town for Allison's baptism.

We managed to get all six great grandkids to sit still on the couch long enough to snap some photos with Great Grandma.  I'm sure some of the other cameras got better pics, but here's what I managed to get on my phone.  It's so nice we could get them all together!

Since Aunt Laura (or "Lola" to Kathryn) couldn't be there, we decided to send her a message to let her know we were thinking about her.  Kathryn's famous "cheese" face:

Kid's table!

Drew was relieved to have the toys to himself while the other kids were busy eating their cake.  He loved exploring through all of the goodies in the shopping cart.

After dinner, Emma, Nate, and Uncle Don (aka Paw Paw) got serious about building a huge tower in the family room.  Unfortunately, later on, Drew and Jessica were just as serious about tearing apart the huge tower!  The kiddos had an absolute blast together.  We'll have to plan some extra trips down to Florida this year so we can get them together more often.  It's only fair, right?

In upcoming news, Drew is scheduled to have tubes placed in his ears this Thursday.  Appropriately enough, when we went for his consult with the specialist on Friday, she said another ear infection is brewing right now -- a sure sign that this is definitely something needing to be addressed.  We are ready for this chapter to be over and done!
