This past Sunday was Andrew's baptism. We shared a very special morning with friends and family. Andrew did surprisingly well, only crying for a minute or two -- much less drama than his big sister's baptism four years ago!

Andrew's godparents, our friends Kyle and Katherine, who flew in from Arizona for the occasion:
Kyle and Katherine might be better known to our blog readers as Cooper and Addison's mom and dad. Here's the whole gang:
After the service, we celebrated with everyone at Grandma and Grandpa H's house. The guest of honor enjoyed getting passed around between relatives. I don't think he was put down once!
Emma was super excited to have her buddies Cooper and Addison in town for a few days. She hadn't seen them since they moved, back in August. The kids basically played nonstop, from dawn (and sometimes earlier) until bedtime every day!
Addison was very sweet to the baby. She gave him kisses, offered him his pacifier, and sang songs to him. She's too smart, though. When I asked her if she'd like a baby at her house, she said, "Umm, no." She doesn't want anyone stealing her spotlight!
Buddies When they weren't playing, they were lined up on the couch watching movies.
Andrew and his godfather spent some time watching football together. Between Tim and Kyle, this boy will definitely have an appreciation for watching sports on tv!
Two little monkeys
Wiped out after 5 days of fun. Emma's not a very convincing fake sleeper, is she?
Both Emma and Cooper were sad to say their goodbyes this morning, but Emma was okay after Daddy promised her that we will go out to Arizona to visit Cooper and Addison at their house very soon. After all of that playing, I have a feeling our little girl is going to be ready for an early bedtime tonight!

Looks like Addison gets to wear her big brother's 'jammies like Kathryn. Thanks for the blog. Aunt Martha
