Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails

Well, Cousin Megan was right again -- Emma's going to have a baby brother! Emma was a little disappointed at first ("I wanted a girl just like me!"), but she is warming up to the idea of having a boy in the house. She especially liked when I reminded her that having a little brother means she probably won't have to share as many of her girly toys.


While we watched the baby's arms and legs flail around on the screen, the ultrasound tech said, "Wow, he looks active!" to which Tim responded, "Oh great." We realize that we have been spoiled by our laid-back, mild-tempered girl. Still, we are very excited. This is certainly the beginning of a whole new set of adventures!

Since we don't have any pics scanned in to share from the ultrasound, here are a few from Addison's birthday party tonight at Catch Air.

Emma loved the dance floor. It lights up whenever you step on a square. She spent lots of time dancing and jumping around on it.

She took some time out to pump some iron in the kids' gym area so she could burn off some of those calories from the pizza and cake.

Cooper and Addison are moving away in a few days, so we made sure to get some good pictures of the kids together. Emma sure will miss her buddies!
