Bedtime story

Emma picked out a book to read for bedtime tonight all by herself. She doesn't seem to care which one it is, she just wants to make sure that she gets to pick it out herself. It's quite an amazing thing, to watch this little helpless creature starting to become independent in her own little ways.

Not much new to report, except that we have completely given up on the baby food. Looks like Miss Emma will be eating big people food from here on out! There isn't much that she will eat at this point, unfortunately, but I know between the formula and what little food she does eat, she should get everything she needs. Hopefully over the coming weeks her menu will expand beyond cheerios, crackers, toast, waffles, and cheese. I think I caught her eating some peas yesterday when she thought no one was watching. She seems to do that lately...she plays with her food and pushes it around until we turn our backs, and then next thing you know, she has eaten one piece and is working on the next.

We made our usual trip out to the new house this past weekend. Since some you have asked to see more pictures, I thought it might be easier to put them in an online album, rather than putting up a bunch of pictures separately. You can view the album by clicking here.
