We did some shopping over the rest of the holiday weekend. Found some great clearance sales on clothes for next spring and summer!
Then on Tuesday, we met Grandma & Grandpa H, Aunt Laura, and Great Uncle Ken at Fogo de Chao for a very nice dinner. We were celebrating Grandma's, Laura's, and Uncle Ken's birthdays. We all had waaaay too much to eat, and Emma hung in there pretty well for being out past her bedtime.

Emma has decided over the past few days that she is over baby food - it's all we can do to get her to take one bite. She's been much more open to trying to feed herself new foods, but she's still a fairly picky finger food eater. We're not too worried...she's get plenty of meat on her bones to get her through a few light meals! She is finally interested in eating cheese, she loves to have toast or a waffle for breakfast, and she really enjoys any kind of fresh fruit -- except for bananas, which she still will barely even touch. What kind of kid doesn't like bananas? I think it must be a texture thing.
Tomorrow, we'll probably head over to the house for our weekly progress check, and then it's over to Uncle Mike & Aunt Heather's house to watch the Georgia game.
