Our baby boy is one year old today! Never have 12 months flown by faster. He has brought so much joy and so many sweet smiles to our lives -- and yours -- and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone tomorrow. Happy birthday, sweet boy!
In honor of the big man's big day, here are a few recent videos. In this first one, Drew managed to turn on Emma's Strawberry Shortcake remote control car without realizing that he was the one controlling it. What's happening here is that he repeatedly hits the button to make the car go. When it ends up coming towards him, he gets all excited. But he keeps hitting that button, and pretty soon the car drives away. You can hear him getting mad, and yet he has no idea that it was his own doing!
This was last night, when we gave Drew a toy from one of Mommy's coworkers.
We will miss all of you who can't be at the celebration tomorrow, and we will be sure to take and share lots of pictures. Any predictions about what Drew will do with his cake? I bet it will be quite different than his sister's reaction on her first birthday!
