She already knows the guys by name, and she has a few favorite songs she likes to listen to when we are in the car. She is her mommy's girl, much to Daddy's dismay...A very brief synopsis of the St. Louis trip -- we walked around the arena before the show to see if we could spot any of the guys outside. We happened to meet some girls and a guy (yes, a guy fan...they do exist!) while waiting. We all managed to find a perfect spot to watch for the guys in the group without tipping off any other wandering fans to our good luck. It paid off when we got to see Joe McIntyre (one of the New Kids) and his family coming into the arena from taking a walk with the baby and their dog. We told Joe about the guy in our group, who happened to be a soldier that was over in Iraq when he bought his concert tickets. Joe was impressed and very graciously got him passes to the meet & greet. Apparently he told the other guys about it too, because they all told our friend that they had heard about him when he met them all, and they were all extremely sweet to him.
Destiny and I had our own great encounters with all of the guys during the meet & greet, and the show was just as great as the one here in Atlanta. A fun-filled trip down memory lane for two friends who don't get to see each other very often anymore!

When we heard that they were coming back, my friend from middle school and I vowed to see them together because we were fans back in the day, but unfortunately she couldn't make it to the Atlanta show. Then she bought the meet & greet tickets so that we could do it up right! We just let our inner 8th-graders take over for a day. :)
