9 month check-up

Emma went for her 9 month check-up this afternoon. She weighs 20 lbs 13 oz and measures 28" long, which are both about 75th percentile. Dr. Dewling was very happy with her progress and said she looks great. Thankfully, we were spared the stress of shots this time -- they only did a toe prick, which Emma took like a champ and didn't even bat an eye. We don't have to go back again until her 1 year check-up, which is coming faster than we can believe!

You can't tell in these pictures, but her duck has taken a trip through the washing machine, which brought him back to his original bright yellow color, but unfortunately fried what little hair he had left on his head. So the ducky is sporting a pretty short 'do these days. You can, however, tell that she enjoyed chewing on her new outfit today. Apparently, it's pretty yummy!
